I am a soon to be graduate at UC San Diego pursuing a B.S. in cognitive science, with a specialization in neuroscience. I am passionate about learning how the mind works, and interacting with people to solve or analyze problems.
My interests range from a variety of fields such as UX design, project management, education, and language development.
One of my greatest passions is figuring out ways to spread knowledge through travel. I've had numerous tutoring, babysitting, and teaching-assisting jobs that range from preschoolers all the way up to high school students. One of my favorite experiences was with Education First, an international education company. As an activity leader at the Long Beach site for EF, I helped to lead and manage a month-long excursion for international students visiting California.
During my 3rd year as an undergraduate student, I participated in a year-long study abroad program under UCEAP. The country of my choice was South Korea, a rapidly growing country of innovation and technology with amazing food. This was my first real adventure to another country on my own, and I definitely plan to add my stamps to my passport in the future.
Dance has been a prominent part of my life since my sophomore year of high school. I started out with jazz and ballet, then ventured into the hip hop world during my college years. I am currently on a team called Major League Crew, an adult exhibition team based in the San Diego area.
